Instrument description
Meddins Modelling Spatula – Plugger (ball) TYPE 9 is intended for the introduction, compaction and modelling of composite material. The rounded shaft provides unrestricted access to the entire cavity. The instrument is suitable for modelling composites in large cavities, in particular on the vestibular walls of front teeth. It is very convenient for introducing the composite directly from the syringe into the cavity.
⦁ The instrument is a combination of the thinnest Meddins TDI 40 t1 spatula and a 1.0 mm bullet-shaped plugger.
⦁ The thickness of the working part of the spatula is 0.2 mm.
⦁ Meddins instruments are made of stainless steel. The ultra-strong chrome-nickel dispersion-hardening alloy of martensitic class provides the instrument with lightness and elasticity, high deformation resistance, biological compatibility and chemical inertness.
⦁ Thoughtful ergonomic design of the handle with notches prevents the hand from slipping and helps to avoid the development of tunnel syndrome.
