Instrument description
The one-sided atraumatic Diagnostic Probe TYPE 4 (WHO) was created by the specialists of Meddins, a Ukrainian manufacturer of dental instruments. The probe is designed to measure and assess the condition of periodontal tissues, the depth of periodontal pockets between the gums and the tooth root, as well as to study the level of gum recession and the degree of root exposure.
⦁ The WHO CPITN-C scale (recommended by the World Health Organization) allows you to diagnose the presence of periodontal pathologies with high accuracy.
⦁ Color marking 3.5-5.5-8.5-11.5 mm for early diagnosis of disease susceptibility.
⦁ Atraumatic spherical tip with a diameter of 0.5 mm.
⦁ Retention notches on the outer surface prevent fingers from slipping in the glove.
⦁ The probe is made of stainless steel, meets international quality standards.
⦁ The ergonomic shape of the handles reduces the risk of developing carpal tunnel syndrome.
